Agri Center is looking for an experienced Farm Equipment Service Technician to join our growing team. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Recondition, repair, assemble, and service farm equipment as coordinated with the Service Manager.
  • Proficient knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
  • Diagnose problems and determine what repairs are needed promptly, so parts may be ordered, and work can be scheduled as soon as possible.
  • Perform inspections as needed.
  • Accurately document work performed.
  • Check and report any shortages or malfunctions to Service Manager.
  • Perform accurately and efficiently to ensure timely repairs and/or delivery.
  • Ability to recognize and suggest any additional repairs needed to Service Manager and/or Customer.
  • Position requires some travel, approximately 25% of the time.
  • Must be able to lift at least 75lbs. repeatedly.
  • Stay up to date on product bulletins and technical product changes.
  • Follow all safety procedures and guidelines, and work in a safe manner.
  • Perform other duties as determined by Service Manager.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Knowledge of farm equipment.
  • Strong physical dexterity for working with tools.
  • Collaborates well with others and able to work independently.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Willingness to learn recent technology, repair, and service procedures.
  • Punctual and dependable.
  • Basic computer skills and the ability to learn in-house software.
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
  • Able to pass pre-employment and random drug screenings.

Parts Manager- Agriculture, Powersports, and Construction Equipment
 
Agri Center is a trusted agriculture, powersports, and construction equipment dealer serving the Midwest in high-quality equipment, expert service, and dependable support. We represent leading brands such as Claas, New Holland, Can-Am, Hyundai, and we are committed to helping our customers keep their operations running smoothly. We’re currently seeking an experienced and motivated Parts Manager to lead our parts department and support the productivity of our service team and customers.
The Parts Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the parts department, ensuring timely and accurate parts availability for internal service teams, field service teams, and walk-in customers. This role involves managing inventory levels, supervising staff, optimizing vendor relationships, and delivering top-tier customer service.
 
Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To:
  • Oversee the procurement, inventory, and sales of agricultural, powersports and construction equipment parts
  • Maintain optimal stock levels through forecasting and reorder planning
  • Supervise and support parts department staff, including hiring, training, and scheduling
  • Provide prompt and accurate support to customers and technicians
  • Coordinate with service department to ensure timely parts availability for repairs and maintenance
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors and suppliers
  • Monitor and manage department budgets, pricing strategies, and profitability
  • Conduct regular inventory counts and audits to ensure accuracy
  • Ensure parts area is clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards
  • Implement and maintain best practices for customer service and workflow efficiency
  • Collaborate with other departments to provide parts support in sales and service.
  • Additional duties as determined by upper management.
 
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s degree in business, agriculture, or a related field preferred
  • 3+ years of experience in parts management or inventory control, preferably in agricultural or heavy equipment
  • Strong knowledge of agricultural equipment and parts (tractors, combines, implements, etc.)
  • Familiarity with OEM systems and parts catalogs (e.g., Claas Partner.Net, CNH, HD-Gate, BOSSWeb, etc.)
  • Experience with dealership management systems (DMS) or parts/inventory software
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Strong organizational, multitasking, and problem-solving abilities
  • Customer-focused mindset with a sense of urgency
 
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Prior experience managing a parts department in an agriculture dealership
  • Understanding of seasonal agricultural demands and planning accordingly
  • Certification in inventory or supply chain management is a plus
